One man's crap is another man's gold

I love a good rummage through 'dead peoples clothes' as I like to ponder.
We have been around countless second hand places in around the Brisbane area.
I can say I am really overthe experience now because going on quests for guys
clothes is a drearily futile endeavour.

The average second hand shop is awash with endless rows of depressingly
bland throwouts - high street branded BIG W/TARGET mass produced tat et al.

With so much new wealth coming into the area, it's frustrating that there isn't
more good stuff out there. At least give me the option of a really
nasty shirt, or a top stylee b.o ridden suit jacket? Nope.

The old ladies like the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of OZ are
like a form of 'taste' police. Anything over a certain age is deemed unworthy
- halt that action now purple hair lady.

Anyway, one of the by products of these searches has personally yielded a
rich vein of interest in the form of BLANK cassette covers/inlay designs.
Efficient, almost brutal graphics.

These are some classics in there and not only that, there's a backround
story reflecting individual sounds of choice - plus where you find them
dictates a loose musical geographical demographic. Needless to say
the OPUS FE 60 cassette (bottom right)was rescued from an odd shop
inCoolangata, Gold Coast.

SIDE B: PLATTERS ...? and - wait for it - SIDE A: BILLY OCEAN.
How can you argue with quality like that?
